15 Healthy Breakfasts To Eat On The Go & In A Hurry

by Shannon Fiedler

We've all heard it a thousand times before: "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." But some mornings, you just don't have the time or energy to whip up a tomato and spinach omelette before heading out the door. Even putting together a bowl of cereal seems impossible. So you end up buying a coffee on your way to work and calling it a day.But if you do want to eat something to start your day off right, you could always grab a healthy breakfast to go that you can munch on during your commute or at the office.

As nice as it would be to have a leisurely sit-down breakfast while mulling over the morning paper, that this is a luxury people can rarely afford these days. From packing kids lunches to doing your hair to just mustering up the effort to get out of bed, morning routines are rushed. And since your kids need to get to school and you can't go out in January temperatures with wet hair, breakfast is what usually takes the hit, and you skip the meal altogether.

But you don't have to, even if you're constantly running late. You can eat on-the-go if you make one of these delicious and healthy recipes and grab a serving on your way out the door. And many of these treats can be made the night before, which will make your mornings even easier. Give them a shot, and you'll feel satisfied as you start your day.
