Reading is an essential part of childhood, and is associated with many treasured memories. (I for one will always associate Dr. Seuss with bedtime rituals.) But as your little ones grow and begin to get ready to enter kindergarten, you might want to change their readings habits and introduce them to some of the books every kid should read before kindergarten.
Before entering school, your kids might have many questions about how their lives will change. They will need to learn certain things before entering the sacred elementary school halls, and will be much better prepared for this new chapter (no pun intended) with some of the lessons and wisdom that can be found in books.
