9 Last-Minute Father's Day Gifts That Dad Will…

by Ni'Kesia Pannell

Living in a different state than my family has caused me to forget many things. I'm not sure what it is about living away from them that causes me to forget to send cards or give calls, but perhaps the "out of sight, out of mind" syndrome comes into play. Though I look at the calendar and make a mental note of what's coming up, but the time it comes, I'm scrambling to get it right. This also is the same for sending gifts and it seems that every year, I'm looking for last-minute Father's Day gifts to send down to my dad.

If we're being truthful though, I'm really just a last-minute type of person. Even when I lived just 10 minutes away from my family in Florida, I still managed to be hitting the malls the week before or locking myself in my apartment to create something special for my dad for Father's Day. I think the most difficult thing is finding a great gift to get the man who literally already has everything. Another issue is the busy schedule I always seem to command. Lines are not my thing, so I end up procrastinating in hopes that I'll avoid them. Fortunately though, I'm not the only last-minute person in the world.

Whether it was because of your schedule or your unintentional procrastination, these nine ideas will help you find the perfect last-minute gift for dad this Father's Day.
