9 Pregnancy Halloween Costumes That Don’t Make Peeing Impossible

by Kristina Johnson

Dressing your pregnant belly for holidays can be tough, and that goes double when the holiday is Halloween. It sometimes seems like there's slim pickings for bump-friendly costumes. Not only are your options sometimes limited in terms of creativity, but also in terms of what you can realistically spend a whole day and night comfortable in — you can't be wriggling in and out of a complicated get up when you're going to be making dozens of trips to the bathroom. Luckily, it is possible to find Halloween costumes for pregnant women that are easy to pee in and that are cute, too.

That doesn't mean you have to dress up as a pumpkin, like approximately 99 percent of pregnant women. Whether you're looking to buy something ready to go or are willing to do a little DIY, there are fun options out there. And best of all, you might even be able to re-wear some of the pieces and get more bang for your buck.

Here are nine Halloween costume ideas for pregnant women that will have you looking fun and festive, while also still being able to run to the bathroom when your little one decides to give you a good whack in the bladder.

1

A Bun In The Oven

Bun In The Oven Costume, $48, Amazon

2

Demon Baby

Demon Baby Prop, $17, Etsy

Who says your costume needs to be cutesy when you’re pregnant on Halloween? This demon baby prop really gets into the spooky spirit of the night. All you need is a tight white shirt to go with it and you’ll be the creepiest mom-to-be in sight.

3

5

A Gumball Machine

Maternity Skirt, $15, ASOS | Tight White Top, $13, Gap | Colorful Pom Poms, $8, Amazon

A sexy red maternity skirt is the centerpiece of this gumball machine costume idea. Simply pair it with a tight white top and glue on some colorful pom poms to the top and you're good to go.

6

Sexy Devil

7
