Amanda Seyfried Loves Being A Mom

by Cameron Norsworthy

Amanda Seyfried has plenty to be grateful for. This past March, her family grew by two — one husband and a daughter rounded out her crew. E! News has shared that things are only getting better: Amanda Seyfried loves being a mom and has no qualms with gushing about it.

Seyfried and her husband, Thomas Sadoski, held the most intimate wedding possible just a couple of months ago. “We eloped," Sadoski revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden in March. "We just took off into the country with an officiant and, just the two of us, and we did our thing," he said.

Their wedding guests were few for sure, but there was one extra guest aside from the officiant; The couple's dog, Finn, was allowed in on the ceremony. “It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be," Sadoski mused to Cordon. "It was just the two of us talking to each other."

Now the two have a baby and Seyfried is absolutely taken with her new role. "Man, I love being a mother," she shared with E!. "I love my family so much." To her, everything feels like it has fallen into place. "I couldn't be more in awe of my life," she concluded.

Photos of Seyfried's new baby don't really exist yet, at least not for the public's eye. After she was asked when fans might get to see her firstborn, Seyfried shrugged: "I probably never will," because, well "she's a secret." Fair enough.

So it looks like Seyfried won't be posting mom-instas any time soon. Her account is, for the most part, pretty withholding, noticeably devoid of gushy photos or explanatory captions. This photo of her dog and husband will have to do for now, aptly tagged #mcm (for man crush Monday):

Even prior to dating Sadoski, Seyfried was sure she wanted kids. In 2015, at 30 years old, she told Marie Claire U.K.:

I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off. I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years. I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything… so how you can ever be ready for that?

Seems like she's definitely ready now. Seyfried's put her family first and isn't looking back. Though we might not get pics of her little one, we can all rest assured that Seyfried's supremely pleased with what she's got going on.
