Are Rory & Paris Friends In The 'Gilmore Girls' Revival? They've Probably Stayed In Touch

Rory and Paris have become one of the most classic "enemies turned friends" relationships in TV history. When Rory first arrived at Chilton, Paris was ready to tear her down and remind her that she was in charge. Things between them only got more intense when they realized they were both applying to Harvard and Paris' longtime crush, Tristan, became infatuated with Rory. However, in the end, the two became close friends and even attended Yale together as roommates. Now that it's been nine years since fans last saw these overachievers, many of you may be wondering if Rory and Paris are still friends in the Gilmore Girls revival.

Whether they're just Facebook friends that stay in touch in the most casual way or if Paris is still calling Rory to ask for advice about her social problems, it seems likely that Rory and Paris are still friends. Based on the trailer for the revival, Paris and Rory will both be returning to where it all began at Chilton, possibly for their high school reunion. Although fans didn't see much of Paris in both teasers, there's enough of her there to suspect that Rory and Paris have at the very least stayed in touch over the years and it'll be fun to see them reunited.

Although it's clear Rory is having a bit of a quarter-life crisis and will find herself unemployed at the moment, it's highly doubtful that Paris is in a similar state. Granted, it wouldn't be the first time viewers have seen Paris suffer from a full-on crisis (remember when she didn't get accepted into Harvard?), it seems unlikely that both friends would be down on their luck at the same time. Plus, her dreams of becoming a lawyer and/or doctor has probably kept her very busy these past few years, so I doubt she's had time for a quarter-life crisis.

One question fans desperately want to know, however, is whether or not Paris and Doyle are still together. It's been known that Doyle is also returning for the revival, but does that mean he and Paris actually ended up together for the long haul? Do they have kids? Are they happy? I certainly hope so. Besides Rory, Doyle was the only person that could put up with Paris' level of crazy.

Thankfully the wait for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is almost over and fans will finally get the answers they've been waiting for. Make sure to get ready to binge on Nov. 25. You won't want to miss this.
