You and your partner, while under the influence, could likely forget to use birth control options like condoms or the pill. Shih recommended using a long-term birth control option, like an IUD or birth control shot, if you are planning to live a party hearty lifestyle.

If you are trying to conceive, or think you might be pregnant, the APA advised that you stop drinking immediately, because any amount of alcohol during pregnancy can increase the chances of fetal alcohol syndrome.

Drunk sex can be lots of fun, but always remember to use protection if you don't want to get pregnant. Alcohol won't stop those swimmers from fertilizing your egg and one night of drunk, unprotected sex could lead to a solid nine months of sober pregnancy sex.
