Chip & Joanna Gaines Are Really Sick Of Those Divorce Rumors

The Fixer Upper stars seem to have an almost perfect as can be marriage, which is why it's always so jarring to see rumors about them in the media. But don't fear, HGTV fans. The couple is stronger than ever and actually, Chip and Joanna Gaines are sick of the divorce rumors, according to an interview the pair did with TODAY this Thursday.

Why? Well, as they explained, they have no idea where they come from. Chip has a sense of humor about it. He told TODAY, "It’s funny, when I think about these circumstances, I think they’re hilarious. I'm like, ‘I can’t believe that these things are happening to us.’ Because part of me feels, who would care about that?" But Joanna takes it a lot more personally, as she explained during the segment:

I just don't know what’s going on. So then I’ll hear someone come up to me and say, "I hear you and Chip are getting a divorce!" And I’ll be like, "Where did you hear that? I don’t know any of this!" We do our due diligence in letting people know as much as we can, "This isn’t us. Don’t be scammed."

It has to be hard when people who are actually close to you believe some of the crazy things about your relationship that aren't true at all. And the rumors never seem to stop.

Last spring, Joanna wrote on her blog that their fans shouldn't believe anything about her and Chip's relationship that didn't come directly from them. At the time, there were rumors swirling about their relationship being on the rocks, that they had less children than they really did (which is insane), and that they were moving away from Texas.

She added in the post, "Always remember: if you’re reading big, exciting news about us, and we did not confirm it on our official sites, then proceed with caution." Chip's also defended their marriage on social media, tweeting to a fan about the fake divorce stories in early August, "Won’t ever happen.. you can take that to the bank! #loveOfMyLife."

The seemingly never-ending gossip about the couple is a sign that some people just aren't good at letting people live their best lives. Chip and Joanna have a great love story, a happy family, and a really successful career doing what they love. Yet instead of celebrating them or taking notes, people want to tear them down.

But they're pretty unstoppable. This week, they announced that they're partnering with Target to put out a Magnolia Market line with the retailer, which means that every Fixer Upper fan can now channel their inner designer. Seriously, just when you think Target can't get any better — a Joanna Gaines line becomes a reality? It's like Christmas came early.

It's going to be called Hearth & Hand with Magnolia and will be in-stores on Nov. 5 — just in time for holiday decorating! All of the pieces are designed by Joanna and it's not going to just be products lined-up on the shelves, according to blog post by Chip. He wrote:

Just as we’ve never created an exclusive line of product for a retailer before, Target has never done anything like this before either. Let me try to give you a visual: it’s like a little shop inside of Target. Jo keeps calling the look “modern farmhouse,” whatever that means. All I know is she’s so excited about this collection that she wants to register for our wedding all over again.

Chip added that they were nervous about pairing up with a big retailer, but Target ended up being a perfect fit. In addition to the exclusive line, Magnolia Market is also designing for Target House, a free house for families to stay at while their children are in St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Having some finishing touches done by Joanna is likely to make such a traumatic and scary experience all the better.

So not only are Chip and Joanna Gaines not getting divorced, they're picking up new projects all over the place. Talk about a power couple.
