'The Bachelor's Nick Viall Is Impressively Tall

It can sometimes be hard to tell exactly how tall the contestants on The Bachelor actually are, because TV doesn't always give us the best comparisons for scale. So you may be wondering how tall is The Bachelor Nick Viall? He has a pretty impressive stature, though you're probably not surprised by this. Nick stands tall at 6'2". This is basically average for a Bachelor contestant, though well above the national average of 5'10".

After appearing twice as a contestant on The Bachelorette (serving as the runner-up both times), and then appearing on Bachelor in Paradise only to decide that after two weeks of televised dating he did not want to propose to Jen Saviano, it seemed only natural that Nick would be chosen to be the next Bachelor. I say this because, after all the chances he gave it, Nick deserves to be the one who gets to choose who he wants to be with, rather than the other way around.

Apart from all of his other admirable qualities, which were edited to best effect on Bachelor in Paradise (probably in preparation for his coronation as the next Bachelor), the lucky 30 ladies all vying for a shot at being his bride, can be assured that he is quite tall. We're talking pretty much the perfect height right here.

The national average adult male height is 5'10", but The Bachelor is hardly known for casting contestants who are physically average in any way, shape, or form. Most of the men selected as contestants or as The Bachelor stand far above this average, hovering at around 6'0", and this is even more true of the men who get farthest into the competition, and the men who are chosen to be The Bachelor themselves. The shortest guys ever to be cast were both in JoJo's season. Alex and Ali are 5'7" and 5'8", respectively.

As far as the height of the women who will be competing for Nick's heart this season, it' a pretty vast range from 5'1" to 5'10". However, it's difficult to know if their height will be all that important to Nick as he chooses among them. If we look at his past romantic interests, Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe were 5'5" and 5'4", respectively, which is about average height, while his Bachelor in Paradise paramour, Jen Saviano was a little taller at 5'7". So something like that may not matter to him.

In the end, who knows which lucky lady Nick (and all the viewers) will fall in love with by the end of the season, but I sure can't wait to find out.
