Jessa Duggar is Pregnant With Her Second Child, & The Announcement Is Adorable

Have you been wondering when the world will be blessed with yet another Duggar baby? Then I have good news! Jessa Duggar is pregnant with her second child, adding another spawn to the brood. Ben and Jessa already have a son named Spurgeon, who is 9 months old. But the real question is: Will a baby announcement from Jill be next?

Jessa's new baby is due next February, according to US Weekly:

We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as 'big brother'! We are so thankful that God is adding to our family. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role. Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!).

So sweet. Jessa is 23 and Ben is 21. But could the mention about "(or babies!)" she uses in the statement be about more than just the small chance for twins? Could she be hinting at another pregnancy in the family?

The new baby will join a whole new generation of Duggars, including Spurgeon, Jill Duggar, and her husband Derick Dillard's son Israel, who is just 16 months old.

When it comes to having babies, Jessa's mom, Michelle Duggar is the Babe Ruth of baby-having, with 19 of her own. And Jessa said she gets plenty of support, according to the Daily Mail:

Every time I come to my mom for advice, she always reminds me that I've got this. There's no pressure to do things just exactly how she did them, but I'm so grateful for all her advice and help. Even when I feel overwhelmed, she’s always there to encourage me and tell me, 'You’re doing a great job!'

Let's hope this pregnancy will be a less emotional time for Jessa. While she was pregnant with Spurgeon, the Duggar family weathered the explosive scandal surrounding her brother Josh. She said, according to the Mail:

During my pregnancy, my family walked through some very difficult times. The fact that I was pregnant was kind of a breath of fresh air because we had the birth of this child to look forward to.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jessa and her sister Jill, who both star in a spin-off Duggar reality show Jill and Jessa: Counting On, said they'd like to be pregnant at the same time for their next go-around. According to HR's account of the episode, a producer for the show asks them: "Which of the two of you will have your second child first?"

"It's hard to say," Jessa replied.

"I think we will probably be pregnant at the same time," Jill said. "But to say who will be first, well Israel is older... so we will see."
