Rachel Lindsay Speaks Very Highly Of Her Fiancé

by Chrissy Bobic

Even though no one is supposed to give away any clues yet about how Season 13 of The Bachelorette ends, Rachel Lindsay’s quotes about her fiancé after The Bachelorette are more than enough to tide us all over until the actual proposal happens. And really, it also means that there is a proposal at all, which can sometimes be questionable depending on the season.

Recently, Rachel has been more open than ever about her mystery fiancé, as far as their weekly rituals and how it’s been to get in their secret meetings while talking to each other every day that they can’t yet see each other. If dating on reality TV was the first test of their relationship, then having this long-distance/not really long-distance relationship has got to be the second most challenging for them.

But somehow Rachel and her new fiancé have managed to make it work and apparently, she’s still totally in love with whoever he is. Ahem, Eric. I mean Peter. Ok, Bryan. Yeah, it’s still a pretty big toss up. But all of Rachel’s quotes about her fiancé after The Bachelorette are evidence enough that whoever she ends up picking was the right choice for her.

They're Definitely In A Honeymoon Phase

Rachel recently spoke to E! News about her fiancé and how they communicate while watching The Bachelorette as it plays out each week. "We talk every day, we text, we FaceTime. We have secret meetings where we see each other, but it's never enough!" She said. And even though they get to have their secret rendezvous meetings, it’s still not enough for the newly engaged couple, which is totally understandable.

She's Ready For It To Be Over

No, not the engagement, but the actual period of time where everything has to be kept secret from everyone else. Rachel told ABC News that while it should be getting easier, it’s gotten even more difficult to keep her Bachelorette fiancé a secret from the world. "You'd think it would get easier, maybe as time goes by, like you're used to it, but no, the more time we spend together, the closer I get to him," Rachel admitted. "And I'm like, 'Uggh!' I'm just ready to tell everyone who he is, [so] everyone can see our love and we can just be out in public in the best way."

They Both Want To Announce Their Engagement

That’s probably the truest statement ever, since most Bachelorette fans were ready from the very beginning of the season to know who Rachel ends up with. And when she spoke to Extra’s Mario Lopez about her fiancé and their life together, she made it clear that more than anything else, they’re both very much ready to be out and open with their relationship. "He’s ready, I’m ready, America’s ready," Rachel said. Of course they can’t really do that until the season finale of The Bachelorette, but like Rachel said herself, American is definitely ready.

Rachel's Also Ready For The Little Things

Rachel also told Lopez that out of all the things she wants to be able to do with her fiancé, those normal everyday things are the highest on her agenda. "I am just trying to plan our lives together when this is all over with," she said. "I want to be public, I want to do normal couple things… do little things with my fiancé, go for a walk, go to the grocery store, get coffee.”

It’s got to be tough to finally be with the one Rachel picked from The Bachelorette and have to basically date in hiding. Then again, she also probably got one of those awesome Neil Lane diamond rings out of the deal, so I think she’ll be OK.

They're Enjoying Their Newfound Alone Time Together

When Rachel spoke to People magazine at the Sports Illustrated Fashionable 50 event in L.A. recently, she opened up about her fiancé more to basically gush and make us all envious of the love they share. "I love my fiancé," she told the magazine "I just saw him yesterday. We just finished having our little rendezvous. We called it Happy Couples Weekend."

Unfortunately for fans, with everything she’s said about her Bachelorette fiancé, there are still little clues to tell us who Rachel chooses in the end since any of the three remaining guys could be the one making her feel this way in real time.

In other words, Eric, Bryan, and Peter all seem like genuine guys who care for her, so Rachel’s quotes about her fiancé don’t give much away. Luckily, there are just a few episodes left until The Bachelorette Season 13 finale, so we won’t have to wait much longer for the big reveal of Rachel’s fiancé.
