Dean's Wardrobe Is The Star Of 'The Bachelorette: Men Tell All'

by Kathleen Walsh

My personal favorite episode of any Bachelorette season is the "Men Tell All" special, wherein I get to watch a bunch of dudes attempt to defend their terrible, petty behavior, and of course revisit some favorites gone too soon. And I know I'm not alone based on the reactions to Dean's camo tux on The Bachelorette: Men Tell All. Because let's be honest, there are very few men that can wear a camo suit jacket and get away with it. For instance, if Lee were to wear a camo suit it would be both a little too on-the-nose, and he would not get that much love.

Dean, however, is the human equivalent of a hug, and he has been through some stuff on this show. He was always pleasant and attractive and sweet, but he really surged in popularity during the hometown dates, where all of Bachelor Nation got to watch and Dean tried to reconnect with his emotionally distant and estranged father. It was heartbreaking. This was also the point when he told Rachel he was falling in love with her and she returned the sentiment only to send him home. Bachelorette superfans would probably support any decision Dean made at this point, but I'll be honest, he looks good in this ensemble. Here is some hard evidence of just how loved he really is...

Confusion and overwhelming adoration seems to be the major consensus among the Bachelorette-lovers of Twitter, of which I am a proud member. I, for one, am also confused. There are certain things that I know to be true. Camo does not belong in formalwear. A suit jacket with a camo print has no business existing. No person has the right to look that foxy while wearing a camo suit. And yet, I look at Dean with his bow-tie and coordinating polka dot pocket square and he looks so good, I suddenly feel like my whole life is a lie.

Of course, not everyone is a fan of this look.

Of course, I accept the fact that there are always going to be fashion traditionalists. Honestly, I am usually one of them. Rational me in a rational world would be very against this suit. It's possible that I'm just blinded by love for Dean and his adorable face and his earnest sweetness. All I know is that he looks good right now. And if that love is wrong then I don't want to be right.
