Taylor Swift Took Tom Hiddleston To Selena Gomez's Concert, & The Internet Is Done

by Alana Romain

When your buzz-worthy romance began as a result of a dance-off at the Met Gala, could there possibly be a more appropriate follow-up date than dancing together at a Selena Gomez concert in Nashville? Apparently not, because Taylor Swift took Tom Hiddleston to Selena Gomez's concert Tuesday night, and from the sounds of it, Hiddleswift was all about showing off their now-famous moves and reportedly engaging in lots of PDA.

According to Us Weekly, a number of Gomez fans posted photos and videos of the couple, who could be seen hanging out in a private box alongside country singer Kelsea Ballerini, Swift's brother Austin, and perennial Swift bestie Abigail Anderson and her boyfriend Matt Lucier. Other fan photos showed Swift, dressed in red, waving hello to fans at the venue as she walked by with Hiddleston. While neither of them have officially confirmed their coupledom, recent photos of the two cuddling and kissing on the beach by Swift's home in Rhode Island seem to have made it pretty clear that they are an item.

But even though Swift and Hiddleston seem to be having a great time together, news of the new relationship was pretty surprising — Swift and ex Calvin Harris had only ended their relationship two weeks before the photos surfaced, and Hiddleston was rumored to have been in a relationship with actress Elizabeth Olsen. But it sounds like to two might have more in common than anyone realized, and that their connection might go far beyond their dancing skills.

According to People, while Swift's success and independent nature was reportedly a factor in her breakup with Harris, Hiddleston has said that "his ideal woman is 'strong, immensely independent and very capable' like his mother and sisters" (yeah!). And while sources have claimed that Harris was much more introverted than Swift, preferring not to attend events (like, uh, the Met Gala), Hiddleston must obviously feel differently if he was down for participating in the dance-off that almost broke the Internet.

Hiddleston also sounded totally smitten with Swift after meeting her at the Met Gala, according to Us Weekly, and even gushed in an interview about how great he thought she was:

I sat next to her at dinner that night, and she was very charming. She is amazing — I’ve seen a couple of her videos.

But while things might be going well on the romantic front for Swift, she might want to brace herself musically: according to the Daily Mail, Calvin Harris has already returned to the studio to make new music, and will reportedly be using his breakup as inspiration. Then again, that's nothing Swift hasn't done herself many times before, so I think it's safe to say we'll be hearing her side of the story in song form pretty soon, too.
