Tess Holliday Quotes About Her Postpartum Body Keep It Real

Every time Tess Holliday speaks, it's a little verbal gift to moms and women everywhere. She always seems to have things in the right perspective and keeps it real. Tess Holliday's quotes about her postpartum body do just that. The model is the mother of two sons, 10-year-old Ryan from a previous marriage and an infant, Bowie, with her partner Nick and the couple shares some of the most intimate family moments on social media. Recently, Nick posted a picture of Holliday on set, cradling her new son while getting her hair and makeup done. It was almost an exact copy of the iconic picture of Giselse breastfeeding her son while getting done up by her "glam squad."

People freaked out over the photo because some people thought it was her breastfeeding. Her partner had her back and posted a gorgeous image of her actually breastfeeding afterwards. What a guy, right? Holliday is all over the "normalize breastfeeding" cause on social media. But that's not the only thing she likes to talk about on social media. She's a cheerleader for working moms, positive body images, and just being a general badass. Every woman could use a little more positive Tess Holliday in their life. Here's some words of wisdom about her postpartum body.

Just Ignore It

Holliday captioned this video, "When people call me fat. Yea, and?"

Doing Her Best

When 'celebrities' are pregnant in the press, they look glamorous, toned & are eager to talk about how they are going to get the baby weight off. While I’ve done my best to look as put together as possible, that’s not real life and it’s not for most women. I’m not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby & share it with the world, and I certainly won’t be the last.

Just Do It

Sometimes you just gotta slap some lipstick on, get your hair done and do the damn thing.

Working Out Isn't For Losing Weight

It’s something I do for myself. I don’t do it for anybody else so no, I don’t feel bad at all [when people watch me in the gym].

Keep On

I will continue to live unapologetically, to thrive in this body, prove the naysayers wrong & laugh at the ignorance

Holliday is always on point when it comes to feeling good about her body and telling other people to just STFU. When new moms start to feel pressure from the world to look a certain way, it's best to pull out the best of Holliday. She knows what's up.
