It's officially official — reports are circulating that the Carter family has grown by two and Blue Ivy is now a big sister. But what day did Beyoncé have her twins? Details are still scarce as the world waits for more reports to come in. According to Us Weekly, multiple sources have confirmed that Beyoncé gave birth to the twins she was expecting with husband Jay Z earlier this week. As far as an actual birthday — no reports have confirmed the day Beyoncé delivered.

UPDATE: TMZ reported on Sunday that Beyoncé had given birth on Monday, June 12. The outlet also claimed the twins were still in the hospital for a "minor issue," but, according to a source, were "expected to be okay." Beyoncé herself was also reportedly still in the hospital, but would likely be "okay" as well, the source claimed. The outlet did not know the nature of the twins' condition, and Beyoncé's rep did not immediately respond to the report.

EARLIER: Fans of the singer-songwriter have been waiting a long time to hear any news. Back in February, the pop icon posted a picture to her Instagram account that featured her hands holding on to her pregnant belly, and which immediately went viral (to date, it's the most-liked Instagram post ever). In a caption beneath the photo, she wrote:

According to Us Weekly, a source claimed earlier this year that Jay Z and Beyoncé had been trying for a long time to get pregnant again. Whether that's true or not, these babies are sure to be a huge blessing for both of their parents and 5-year-old big sister, Blue Ivy. The source also claimed that Blue Ivy was incredibly excited. (I mean, who wouldn't be?)
