Trump May Have Some Thoughts About Bey's Pregnancy

You may have thought it was just going to be a typical Wednesday, but that all changed when Beyoncé announced she is pregnant with twins on Instagram and brought some much-needed joy to this world. And while the details surround her pregnancy are still unknown (when is she due? will she have boys or girls?), there's one question I find myself asking just out of habit (sadly): What does President Donald Trump think about Beyoncé's pregnancy?

As many of us know by this point, Trump is never shy when it comes to voicing his opinions on a vast array of topics, whether it be in regard to politics or whether or Meryl Streep is "overrated." (Tell that to her record-breaking 20 Oscar nominations.) So it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility for him to make a remark or comment on Beyoncé's exciting news. He's pretty much been the one dominating the news cycle these days (for better or for worse), so there's always a chance he'd be grateful (or resentful) of the singer for stealing his thunder. But is that the case? Right now it's anyone's guess at this point in time.

As of now, Trump has yet to comment on Beyoncé's pregnancy via his Twitter accounts, which include both his POTUS one and his personal page. But that doesn't mean it won't happen eventually, especially since many tweets have started cropping up about how Beyoncé's pregnancy is saving us from the dark and bitter days that have made up most of 2017 — a subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) jab to Trump's reign as the president.

If word reaches Trump that this is going on, he may refer back to his old habits and put in his two cents on the matter during the wee hours of the morning or night. It may not have happened yet, but that doesn't mean it won't. In the meantime, though, the rest of the world is flat-out rejoicing over this glorious news. Because, honestly, having more Queen Bey DNA out in the world is exactly what we need right now. So while Trump may eventually find the whole thing "overrated," I can assure you he will pretty much be the only person who thinks that. The rest of us just couldn't be happier.
