Rachel's Job Is Extremely Impressive

Every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette usually contains at least a few contestants who are part-time models and aspiring reality TV celebrities in the making. But when you get a totally genuine contestant like Rachel, who is obviously looking for love for all of the "right reasons", it's incredibly refreshing. She touched on it during the very first cocktail hour of the season, but what is Rachel's job outside of The Bachelor? She is an attorney who does some important work and she's been working in law for years, making her pretty impressive competition.

That's not to say that the models and lifestyle coaches of Bachelor Nation are any less great on their own, but Rachel has seemed genuine and real from the beginning and she deserves recognition for that. Obviously Nick saw it too, because she not only got the first ever first impression rose of the season, but she's already made it incredibly far, which is a very good sign. Rachel is part of the final six women on The Bachelor and if that doesn't tell you how amazing she is, then you're watching the wrong show.

According to Rachel's LinkedIn account, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and then Marquette University Law School in 2011. The 31-year-old has settled into her current position at the Texas firm Cooper & Scully, P.C. where she works as a civil defense litigation attorney. Her areas of expertise include insurance defense, local government law, and commercial litigation.

Not only is the Dallas attorney successful in what she does, but Rachel was also named as "one to watch" by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Before joining Cooper & Scully in 2015, Rachel worked for the state public defender’s office in Milwaukee on sports and criminal law. The association said that "Rachel’s passion for the law and community involvement coupled with her dynamic endeavors brand her as a vibrant individual," so it's really not just for TV. And not only does Rachel have a super impressive career at just 31 years old, but she also has ties to Nick's hometown, which kind of makes her even more of a perfect candidate to be endgame for this particular Bachelor.

There's a reason why you haven't seen much drama surrounding Rachel on The Bachelor this season and why she seems to take everything in with a mostly calm demeanor. She's an adult, who truly hopes to find love with Nick. Now that the season is starting to wind down, you've got to consider the real possibilities for Nick and Rachel is obviously one of them.
