OMG Toys "R" Us Is Going To Be Open For 30 Hours Straight For Black Friday Shoppers

by Tessa Shull

Each Thanksgiving season, one of my favorite pieces of the chaos is holiday shopping, and the most fun part is finding toys for the kids and family. Even as an adult, I can't deny that there's something exhilarating about walking through aisles and aisles of toys. This holiday I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way, and as a result, you can count on busy stores and lots of shopping over the next month. Considering the upcoming sales after Thanksgiving, you're probably wondering: What time does Toys "R" Us open on Black Friday this year? I'm sure you're looking forward to gift giving for your little ones, friends, nieces, nephews, and the kids at heart, so you're going to want to know what time to show up so that you can get a head start on some of the deals you can look forward to you as you head through those doors.

The truth is that the answer is kind of complicated. This is because Toys R Us doesn't exactly wait until the Friday after Thanksgiving to to unleash their major Black Friday deals. Instead, many Toys "R" Us stores will be open from 5:00 p.m. Thursday night all the way through 11:00 p.m. Friday night. Yes, we have confirmed this with their team. Luckily for you, that translates into 30 straight hours of toy-finding glory and money saving bliss. It's important to note, however, that store hours do vary from place to place, though only a very small percentage of locations will not be observing this 30 hour shopping spree. Consider looking over the Toys R Us holiday store hours map for your local store to plan out your shopping accordingly.

For those who don't feel like leaving the house after their huge Thanksgiving meal, you have something to be thankful for too. This year, Toys R Us will actually open up their Black Friday deals online on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET, according to their official site. So not only can you stay home to unbutton that extra pants button after dinner on Thursday, but you can get your shopping done before Thanksgiving even hits your home.

But for those brave souls who are showing up at 5:00 p.m., or the night owls who decide to skip through the aisles at 3:00 a.m., there are plenty of deals you can expect in-store only too. And I don't about you, but that alone is incentive enough for me to show up ready to shop. The doorbusters I'm looking forward to most include the Barbie Pink Passport 3-Story Townhouse for only $60 (Reg. $120), and the 40 percent off select LEGO Construction Sets (Reg. $42, $45, & $72). You can also look for the little deals like 33 percent off Fisher Price Infant Toys or $15 off Crayola Coloring Arts & Craft Kits (Reg. $25). And in general, you can look forward to savings off Nerf guns, toddler items, learning toys, games, video games, and the list goes on and on.

Whether you're a fan of in-store shopping or going to grab your deals online Wednesday while all Toys R Us stores are closed nationwide, you can definitely kickoff your holiday shopping with a bang. Don't forget to head over to Toys R Us Black Friday ads to see just what you can expect this year. It's truly the best way to map out your Black Friday shopping experience, and coming prepared helps you grab the gifts you want for the best prices. It also means you don't miss out on anything!

Regardless of how you seek out the deals, online or in person, I'm rooting for you to find magical gadgets for an enjoyable price, and of course, join in the fun a little for yourself too.
