Fans Are Already Hungry For 'iZombie' Season 4

by Zakiya Jamal

The third season of iZombie comes to a close on Tuesday, June 27, and fans are not ready to say goodbye to their favorite zombies, especially because the wait for Season 4 will be a bit long. So when does iZombie Season 4 premiere? Thankfully, iZombie was renewed in May, so at the very least, viewers don't have to worry about whether or not the show will continue. But even though it's definitely happening, it won't be coming back until 2018.

Similar to Season 3, iZombie won't return until midseason in 2018. Though there's no exact air date just yet, fans can probably expect to see the new season premiere in April just as it did this year. It will also probably be another 13 episodes in length. During the long wait, fans can rewatch the entire series on Netflix once the third season is added on Wednesday, July 5. Until then, fans can look forward to the Season 3 finale, which will definitely be interesting.

Throughout the third season, Olivia (Rose McIver) and her team have uncovered that there's way more zombies in Seattle, Washington than they first realized. Now it seems the zombie count could grow even higher with an outbreak of a deadly disease that could lead to a death toll of 10,000 people or more. Yikes!

According to the finale's episode description Liv discovers a major secret that will have serious consequences for everyone while Major, who's gone from human to zombie to human again more times than I can count, will begin thinking about his future. At the same time, Blaine will also be looking into a new business deal and with his sketchy past it's hard to say if that's a good or bad thing.

It's clear the finale will be filled with twists and turns that will leave fans on the edge of their seats and also laughing hysterically at the insane situations Liv and her friends find themselves in. However, the episode should finally answer some questions about what's going on in Seattle and what's ahead for the humans and the zombies alike.

Can the two groups ever live in harmony? Is there a successful form of the cure that could prevent people from ever being made into zombies again? Fans will just have to watch the finale to find out exactly what's going on. Here's hoping it doesn't end on a crazy cliffhanger.
