'RHOA' Season 10 Will Have A Few Surprises

by Zakiya Jamal

The ninth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is coming to an end and the third part of the reunion special is sure to be interesting. This past season has been a bit of a roller coaster, filled with lots of drama, lawsuits, exes, and more. As this season comes to a close fans are already wondering when does Real Housewives of Atlanta return for Season 10? Thankfully, Bravo has officially announced that the popular reality show will definitely be back for another installment, though the Season 10 premiere date hasn't been set yet. Still, fans have much to look forward to in the new season.

For starters, former RHOA star Kim Zolciak is reportedly returning for Season 10, according to TMZ. Although the show wanted her back as a full-time cast member, she'll only be on the show part-time, since she's still doing her own show, Don't Be Tardy. The Bravo series is also hoping to get NeNe Leakes back, but she hasn't officially signed on just yet.

Kim already caused a bit of drama in Season 9 at Sheree's Chateau Sheree housewarming party. After Kenya Moore and Kandi stumbled upon Sheree's unfinished basement, Sheree was furious at them for "snooping." Kim then got in the mix when she defended Sheree to Kenya and the two ended up in a sparring match, throwing insults at each other.

Kim also had a kind of awkward encounter with Kandi, since they hadn't spoken in a while. Then, when leaving, Kim made sure not to say goodbye to Kenya on her way out. So much shade! That drama is sure to stir up again next season, especially because Kim and Sheree are now, in fact, very good friends (even though fans will never forget when Sheree pulled Kim's wig). If NeNe ends up returning as well, it'll definitely be one unforgettable season.

Season 9 had its fair share of drama as well though. It was revealed that Phaedra had lied about a lot of things, including her divorce from her husband Apollo. More than that, she helped one of Kandi's former employees sue Kandi, making their fractured friendship officially over. Porsha, Phaedra's bestie these days, also had issues with Kandi after they got into it about spreading rumors about each other behind the other's back. Mainly, it was brought up that Porsha had said Kandi was "still in the closest," which began their still ongoing feud.

You can see all the drama continue when The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs the conclusion to its reunion on Sunday, April 30 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
