What's The Living Situation Between Rachel & Her New Fiancé After 'The Bachelorette'?

by Chrissy Bobic

No one can really say they’re surprised by the result of The Bachelorette’s season finale Monday night, because Rachel and Bryan seemed like a sure thing since she gave him the first impression rose. But now that they can finally go public with their relationship and engagement, where do Bryan and Rachel live after The Bachelorette? Rachel works as an attorney in Dallas and Bryan is a Miami chiropractor, so they don’t live in the same state, much less the same time zone. In other words, someone is going to have to make a move and if someone already has, unbeknownst to fans, was it Rachel or Bryan?

Bryan is a chiropractor and clinic director for The Accident and Injury Team in Miami Lakes and while the practice does have offices in Pennsylvania and Kentucky, and Massachusetts, they don’t have one conveniently situated anywhere in Dallas. And since Rachel practices law in Dallas, if she moved to Florida, she would have to pass the state bar exam in Florida to be able to practice law there. Either way, they both have important careers that it would be a challenge to uproot, though going on The Bachelorette, you have to expect that you might eventually need to do that.

Since they’re finally allowed to be out in public together and do something as simple as drive together in the same car, Bryan and Rachel will also have to figure out where they’re going to live if they haven’t already. Though there are already a few social media clues that would make it seem like Rachel and Bryan already live together after The Bachelorette.

On The Bachelorette finale Monday night, Chris Harrison asked the newly engaged couple where they plan to live, but it seems like they're still trying to make that decision. However, as Bryan put it, they could settle down to start their life together in Dallas, Miami, or even Los Angeles.

Unless it’s some Bachelorette safe house where the two were sanctioned to meet up every weekend and they brought their dogs along with them at different times, it definitely looks like Bryan and Rachel were already living on domestic bliss before the season ended for viewers. In one photo Bryan posted on Instagram in June, he’s posing with his dog on a brown leather couch. A week later, Rachel posted a photo of herself with her dog Copper on a leather couch that looks to be suspiciously similar to Bryan’s. But since it could really be either of their homes, it’s hard to say who moved where.

Honestly though, my money’s on Rachel moving to Miami. While she’s plenty close to her family, there’s something about Bryan’s relationship with his mom that makes it seem like he probably couldn’t move across state lines for good without a little mom guilt trip. Not that it’s a bad thing, because Bryan seems to cherish his relationship with his mom, but in that respect, it would probably make more sense for Rachel to move to Miami to live with Bryan. Either way, if their love is the real deal, hopefully they'll be able to find a happy medium and find a solution they're both satisfied with.
