Everyone Wants To Know Where Beyoncé Will Give Birth

Very, very soon, Beyoncé will giveth unto us two beautiful twin babies, and the Carter family will be changed forever. It's safe to say that when Beyoncé goes into labor the entire world will stop until we know she's safe and sound and Tina Lawson posts a picture of them with their names hashtagged. This year has been plagued with terrible news. We need the Carter Twins. So, where is Beyoncé giving birth so we know where to look? If it's anything like Blue Ivy's birth, no one, not even the best paparazzi, will be able to get anywhere near the proud mom.

Last time, Queen Bey went to a hospital in New York City, so she's likely not into the home birth thing — although details are scant when it comes to Bey and Jay, so anything is possible. Either way, where Beyoncé gives birth will depend on where she is at the time.

For example, this weekend, she was in Beverly Hills for her epic push party. If she decides to camp out in California for the summer leading up to her due date, she'll probably give birth at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, which is popular with celebrities. The deluxe maternity suite costs around $4,000 a night.

Jay Z is a native New Yorker, though, so it's possible he'll want the twins to have Manhattan on their birth certificate, and stick around town.

Blue was delivered at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where she reportedly had her own entire unit. There were local New Yorkers who reported to news outlets that they had to wait on "lockdown" when they were trying to go see their own infants in the neonatal intensive care unit because of the singer's presence.

Of course, Lenox Hill denies any special treatment for the star. According to E! News, the hospital said in a statement that Beyoncé was "billed the standard rate" for the room she was in. "Our executive suites are available for any patient, including the food service and amenities provided to the Carter family," they added.

There's no price listed for the executive suites, but it's probably similar to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. (The couple did come with their own security, in addition to the top notch security Lenox Hill provides.)

With Blue Ivy, the couple drew some criticism for reserving the whole floor, but given the fanaticism surrounding Beyoncé, it's hard to blame them for wanting their privacy, although it must have been very stressful and frustrating for other new parents in the Lenox Hill maternity ward. (Tina Fey once joked that she took a breastfeeding class in a closet at Lenox Hill, since she wasn't as famous as Beyoncé.)

Fans likely won't know where the twins will be born until way after the fact, but fans can be sure they'll get the best possible care, no matter where they end up.
