This Is Where You Can Get The Unicorn Toy From 'Despicable Me'

One of the biggest movies of the summer is not a superhero movie, nor is it a movie about alien robots — it’s Despicable Me 3. My family is super excited about the new movie, and my kids are already looking to buy new movie merchandise. When the first movie came out, I rushed out to get the fart gun, which has provided tons of giggles, but this year, my daughter wants the fluffy unicorn that Agnes carries around in the movies, which means I have to find out where you can buy the unicorn toy from Despicable Me. (I have a feeling I'm not alone.)

My kids love toys, and I’m a sucker for movie merchandise. Whenever I go to the mall, I keep an eye out for new toys that I know my kids (and I) will love. Last week I found the Fluffy Unicorn Toy at Build-A-Bear Workshop, and you can get the kids to stuff the toy themselves or purchase it online. They even have an adorable sleeper outfit for the unicorn that you can purchase separately. Build-A-Bear Workshops have stuffed minions too, and all their Despicable Me toys can come with a banana scent, which is frankly, bananas.

Despicable Me is trademarked by Universal, so they understandably carry a bunch of movie merchandise. On the online Universal Store, there are a few versions of the Fluffy unicorn toy available, including a 22-inch pillow plush ($35), a 6-inch unicorn plush keychain ($13), and an adorable plush Agnes holding her unicorn ($30). The Universal Store even has a 22-inch unicorn plush backpack ($37) that can combine fun with utility.

Toys R Us, usually a parent’s first stop for toys, carries two versions of the unicorn toy. The bigger one is an 18-inch stuffed Fluffy unicorn ($40), and the smaller one is a 14-inch plush unicorn. This gives you the option to choose which size is right for you, especially if your child is planning on taking the unicorn everywhere they go. Because who needs space for groceries in the car anyway?

Amazon also has a ton of different varieties and sizes of the Fluffy Unicorn Toy. They carry a Ty Beanie Babies Fluffy Unicorn, and a Funko Pop Fluffy Action Figure, too. If you are an Amazon Prime customer, you can get your unicorn within one to two days, depending on where you live, so your kids won’t drive you nuts for too long waiting for their new toy.

The unicorn toy from Despicable Me is available at a variety of stores, but with the popularity of the franchise, and the release of the new movie, it may not be in stock for long. I will be going to get one for my daughter soon, just in time for Despicable Me 3.
