From the many (so many) contestants we've met across twenty seasons of The Bachelor and twelve of The Bachelorette, there are a few who are more memorable than others. Occasionally, contestants are memorable because of the stupid and/or horrible things they said or did, but at least as often, viewers will remember a contestant because they're just rooting for them so hard to find love. Carly Waddell is one of the latter. The former Bachelor contestant is packing her bags and heading to the beach, appearing on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 this summer. But who is Carly Waddell on Bachelor in Paradise?

The 30-year-old Texan is an alum of more than one Bachelor Nation season and is fresh off of a recent break-up. Rumors are circulating that she'll potentially be bonding with more than one cast-off from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette – Carly is clearly seen getting close to Evan Bass during the most recent promo, while back in May, Carly was allegedly spotted out on a date with Wells Adams (who is also set to appear in Paradise this season).

Beyond speculation about what may or may not go down during the upcoming season, here are a few things we know for sure about this Bachelor contestant.

She Was A Contestant On The Bachelor Season 19

Carly made her Bachelor Nation debut competing for Farmer Chris' heart alongside future Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. She was eliminated in Week 7 after drama with fellow contestant Britt Nilsson.

She's A Singer-Songwriter

Her job title while on The Bachelor was cruise ship singer, and since then, she's released her own original single "So I Do" on iTunes. She trained in musical theatre performance at both NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and University of Oklahoma, according to the resume on her website.

Her Brother Is Also An Alum Of Bachelor Nation

The Arlington, TX resident's older brother Zak competed for Desiree Hartsock's heart on Season 9. He made it all the way to Week 8.

She's Been On Bachelor in Paradise Before

Carly is one of the few returning cast members from Bachelor in Paradise Season 2. She had a relationship with fellow cast member Kirk DeWindt while on the show last season, but that ended in heartbreak when he ended things with her. But her first go-around on Bachelor in Paradise wasn't all bad – it cemented her BFF-ship with fellow Bachelor Season 19 alum Jade Roper. She even wrote and performed a song for Jade's wedding to Bachelor in Paradise co-star Tanner Tolbert

She's A *Huge* Fan Of T-Swift

There are so many T-Swift photos/quotes/memes on Carly's Instagram, y'all. As a fellow Southern singer, it's likely that Carly feels a kinship with the mega pop star. She posts about Swift nearly every week for #TaylorTuesday.

She's Been Unlucky In Love

Beyond walking away from her time on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise still single, Carly went through a break-up with her most recent beau, fellow singer-songwriter Erik DiNardo, after a six-month relationship. The two called it quits after Carly realized they were going in different directions.
