Who Is Robby's Ex-Girlfriend On 'The Bachelorette'? She Now Knows Another Bachelor

There's only four men left vying for JoJo Fletcher's heart on The Bachelorette, and Monday's episode takes JoJo on the long-awaited hometown dates with Jordan Rodgers, Luke Pell, Chase McNary, and Robby Hayes. From the previews, it looks like we'll be getting some more background information on just what, exactly, Jordan's family's relationship with his famous brother Aaron is (hint: not great), as well as a confrontation between JoJo and Robby about the real story behind his breakup. Almost from the start of the season, rumors have been swirling that Robby dumped his longtime girlfriend in order to be on The Bachelorette. It looks like we might get a few more answers as to the truth of this. So, who is Robby's ex-girlfriend? Her name is Hope Higginbotham, and it looks like she's gotten to know another Bachelorette suitor.

The Bachelorette villain who just won't go away, Chad "Let's Not Pretend I'm Hitler" Johnson recently posted a very cozy Instagram shot of himself with Hope Higginbotham herself. Chad captioned the picture collage, in which the two of them are snuggling and smooching with:

"While traveling this weekend, our paths crossed and I finally had the opportunity to meet Hope Higginbotham in person. Let me just say, she is even more beautiful in person! A great girl like her deserves so much better than someone who lies, cheats, and ends a four year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a tv show. You're amazing, I miss you already."

I don't want to sound like a curmudgeon or a love-hater or anything, but could this possibly be legit? Did Hope move on from Robby only to start dating Chad, who is generally agreed upon by all to be the absolute worst (judging by his portrayal on the show, that is)? It's possible. It's also possible that Hope and Chad have orchestrated a very public revenge shot at Robby who, if the rumors are to be believed, might also be the worst himself. This might just be the ultimate trolling, or a love that knows no bounds.

Robby and Hope reportedly dated for over three years. To JoJo, Robby has claimed that part of the reason the relationship didn't work out was that Hope was too closed off, and Robby had only met her mom once. The two are both from Florida, which is supported by Hope's LinkedIn profile. Interestingly enough, though, it seems that Hope and Chad actually share something in common — a passion for real estate.

According to her LinkedIn, Hope is currently a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and has been since October 2015. Before that, she was a personal assistant with the company, located in Ponte Vedra Beach. She graduated from University of North Florida in 2016.

Currently, her social media is private — which is a huge bummer considering she's used it to speak out about Robby's time on the show. WetPaint reports that Hope used Instagram to fight back at some of Robby's claims on the show. They say that in response to Robby declaring he is "way past" his previous relationship (presumably Hope), she allegedly posted the "Why you always lyin'" meme, with the captions "#mymommadontlike you #iaintsorry." She also tagged Robby's account handle, and used the hashtag #TheBachelorette. While there is plenty of he said, she said going on, one thing we can be confident in is this: Hope Higginbotham has great taste in music and pop culture memes.
