Khloé Has Made Her Debut In Kim Kardashian's Christmas Card — But Where's Kylie?

For some demographics, Christmas music blaring in department stores and snow flurries signify the beginning of yet another holiday season. For the Kardashian-obsessed, the rollout of the family's annual Christmas card does the trick. This year, Kim Kardashian has been releasing installments of the card — photos featuring different members of the KarJenner extended family — on social media for much of December. And just about halfway through the month, the only sister who hasn't made an appearance yet is Kylie Jenner. And the 20-year-old is actually the one fans are most anxious to see as rumors of her reported first pregnancy swirl. But, just like the pregnancy itself, the question of whether Kylie Jenner will be in Kim Kardashian's Christmas card remains an open one.

Kim Kardashian started sharing pics from the photo shoot on Dec. 5, and the collection heavily features the youngest generation of Kardashians, including her daughter, North, 4, and son, Saint, 2. On Tuesday, though, Kendall Jenner made her 2017 Christmas card debut, with Khloé Kardashian doing the same in a group shot shared publicly on Wednesday.

Because Kim and oldest sister Kourtney had graced the photo shoot earlier in the series, Kylie Jenner has emerged as the lone holdout. In fact, she's been keeping a relatively low profile since (unconfirmed) news broke at the end of September that she is reportedly expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott, as Us Weekly reported.

And that seems to be by design. In early October, an unnamed source told People that Jenner had made a conscious decision to stay out of the limelight, although she was very much looking forward to welcoming her baby girl reportedly due in early 2018:

Kylie prefers to stay home. She feels good, but her body is changing. She doesn't want to be photographed At the moment, she wants more privacy. She has family and friends come to her house instead so she has company. She is very excited about the baby though. She talks about the baby nonstop. She is already shopping like crazy.

So, if Jenner doesn't want the public glimpsing at her alleged bump, that's pretty strong evidence that she may avoid the family Christmas card this year, right? Maybe, but many fans are convinced that she may actually take the opportunity to reveal her pregnancy to the world once and for all. Admittedly, this theory seemed stronger before Wednesday, when Khloé showed up on a card shot for the first time.

Khloé is also rumored to be expecting her first, a boy, with Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to E! News. Fans really thought both sisters would unveil their pregnancies via the card — believed to be more or less in the same stage — but she appears, as many fans have noted, bump-free while holding her baby niece in the photo.

Does Khloé's low-key appearance in the card blow that whole hopeful line of thinking up? Does it mean she's not expecting at all, after all? It's hard to know, as the entire family has been impressively tight-lipped about the whole situation of the rumored babies-to-be.

From the outside looking in, all we really know for sure, honestly, is that Kylie is going to share the news of her rumored pregnancy (or not) on her terms and her terms only. If that means putting on her light-wash jeans, a white top, and getting barefoot with the rest of her family and baring her bump to the world, so be it. If not, fans will simply have to keep watching and waiting until she decides it's the right time to confirm or deny what everyone's been fervently suspecting for months.

Regardless, there are still 12 more days of KarJenner Christmas card surprises ahead.
