11 Questions Fans Want Answered In 'Harry Potter & The Cursed Child'

For Harry Potter fans, 2016 is shaping up to be one hell of a year. A prequel to the franchise, Fantastical Beasts and Where To Find Them, hits theaters later this year. A new Wizarding World theme park will open this spring. And, most a new Harry Potter "book" will be made available. importantly A downloadable script of the play, which will premier in London the same day, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child addresses what happened after Harry and Co. left Hogwarts. But with the release comes a lot of question fans want answered in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The story picks up exactly where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows left off — Harry Potter dropping his son Albus Severus Potter off at Platform 9 and 3/4 and sending him off for his first year at Hogwarts. (Also, lets call this kid Al from here on out because it's so much easier.) We see a scared boy who isn't sure what to make of this adventure, and a father trying to impart some wizardly wisdom. Fans have been wondering for years what happened when the Hogwarts Express took off, and now they'll finally know. But what about all the other searing questions we have regarding Harry Potter and The Cursed Child? What House Will Albus Severus Be Sorted into?

We know young Al is nervous about being sorted into Slytherin, but I think it would be interesting to see what happens if he gets placed elsewhere. This could be a great chance to sort Al into one of the underrepresented houses like Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. It'd also be nice to see Slytherin in a more positive light and this would be a prime time to show the house isn't purely evil after all.

Have The Uniforms Changed Much?

What's the newest school fashion? Are cardigans and pull overs still standard or has Hogwarts moved into modern? Are house hoodies a thing now? And what do the new Quidditch uniforms look like? Yes, this may seem trivial, but inquiring minds and cosplayers alike want to know!

Who Is Headmaster?

Or shall we say headmistress? According to Harry Potter Wiki, Minerva McGonagall took over as headmistress in 1998 and hasn't seemed to retire just yet. Though unt J.K. Rowling tells us, it's simply speculation.

What Does "Cursed Child" Mean?

The term "Cursed Child" gets our minds running around like a hamster in a wheel, Is this still referring to Harry Potter being cursed? Is Al cursed? Or is Al a troubled child constantly stirring the pot?

Who Will be Albus's Plucky Companions?

Will Al make nice with the Malfoy boy? Or will he continue on with a long dead feud?

Will There Be More Quidditch?

Al is the son of not just one great seeker, but two. Although Harry's quidditch career ended before he left Hogwarts, Ginny went on to be a professional quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies playing both chaser and seeker. Al culd eithe rinherit his parent's althetic skills, or rebel against the sport altogether. Only time will tell.

How Much Of The Parents Will We See?

We're guessing the story will be centered on Albus, but will we get to see of our old favorites? Since Harry, Hermione and Ron have bee cast for the stage version, we know they'll pop up. But what about old favorites like Luna and Neville?

It's a long running joke that professors don't seem to stick around past one year of teaching this class, but does this reign true following the Second Wizarding War?

Are Ginny and Harry still happy in their marriage? What about Ron and Hermione? Not only are fans curious about their family lives are, but their professional lives as well.
