9 Things That Happen When You Have Sex Everyday
by Jill Di Donato

Science, the medical community, your mother, co-workers, and the stranger sitting next to you on the train want you to get in on. Why? Because things that happen when you have sex everyday are mostly all good.

But how many people are really having sex everyday? Huffington Post studied and measured how much sex married couples have. Although no one in the study reported having daily sex, it was found that age and the length of the marriage did not have an impact on the frequency of sex. In fact, some couples married for more than 15 years reported having more sex than newlyweds. So, maybe it's the singles who are having daily sex? People who have partners but are not married? Octogenarians? Only people in Hollywood movies or reality TV shows? I really, really want to know.

Because not only does sex feel good, research has shown time and time again how sex benefits your body, and the more frequently you do it, the healthier your body and your brain become. So why isn't everyone doing it all the time? If you're one of the lucky few to have sex everyday, it's almost unfair that you get to reap all of these benefits too.

1

You Might Become A Major Boss Lady

Thought Catalogue reported that frequent sex can give your self-esteem a boost. In turn, you're now ready to take over the world. Obviously, there are other things that can make a gal feel awesome about herself, but daily sex is a fun one.

2

You Might Become Addicted To Sex

Medical Daily noted that MRIs showed pictures of the brain during orgasm, and it resembled the brain of someone on heroin. Dopamine, released by the brain during sex is associated with "excitement, reward, desire, pleasure and in some case addiction," psychiatrist Joseph Shrand told AlterNet.

3

You Might Be In The Best Shape Of Your Life

Everyday Health reported that daily sex is great cardio. Lots of sex improves heart health and research shows that people who have frequent sex also have a higher level of salivary immunoglobulin a (IgA), which boosts immunity. So you'll be healthy and happy.

4

You Might Become Less Depressed

Women's Health reported that semen contains melatonin, serotonin, and oxytocin, all bodily chemicals that thwart depression.

5

You Might Be Less Stressed Out

That's because you're getting laid, and not trying to get laid. But seriously, research shows that frequent sex can lower blood pressure, which physiologically reduces stress.

6

You Might Fall More In Love With Your Partner(s)

When you have sex daily, ABC News noted that your brain is releasing a ton of oxytocin, aka the drug that bonds you to people and makes you feel more connected to them. A lot of people might mistake this for love. So, be careful or enjoy, depending on with whom you're in bed.

7

You Might Improve Your Complexion

You Beauty reported that the afterglow you get from frequent sex is caused by increased blood flow, which keeps skin plump and flushed. Bonus: your skin is so naturally gorgeous, you use less make-up, which can keep your complexion clear.

8

You Might Get Smarter

According to Medical Daily, the amygdala, nucleus accumbens, ventral tegmental area , cerebellum, and the pituitary gland are the parts of the brain activated during sex. So, sex is like a workout for the brain.

9

You Might Get Pregnant

If having unprotected sex daily, you're going to end up doing it during your most fertile days, which is when you're ovulating. But according to Parents, ovulation is not always easy to predict, and one mistake couples trying to conceive make is not having enough sex.

Go forth and get it on, because at the risk of sounding like a '90s George Michael song, I'm sure there are many people who want your sex.
