Is Logan Behind The Final Four Words In The 'Gilmore Girls' Revival? We May Never Know

(Warning: This post contains massive spoilers from the entire Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.) The Gilmore Girls revival was emotionally overwhelming. Between the nostalgia, the characters, the seasons, the boyfriends, everything felt like one big surge of feelings. But, nothing was as big of a feelings wrecker as the final four words. Those final four words we've been waiting years to hear. The final four words where Rory said she was pregnant. The question remains, who is the father of Rory's baby on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life? There are a couple options, but based on the that reveal, and the timing of her relationships, you may be asking if it is Logan behind those final four words.

The final four words that we're talking about, of course, are as follows, just incase you blacked out from rage, or emotion, or any feeling that causes you to scream "TEN YEARS!":

Rory: Mom?

Lorelai: Yeah?

Rory: I'm pregnant.

Just looking at this, we don't have a lot to go off of to truly answer if Logan is the father of Rory's baby. There were a few other men in the series that are options (Paul and the Wookie...), and then there are those that didn't really make a physical impression on Rory (Jess) that we saw, but who is to say it didn't happen? Needless to say, our best bet at this point seems to point toward Logan. Who is engaged to an heiress.

If Logan is the father, what is to come (if anything is to come) is truly up in the air. He and Rory broke things off, and, if I've learned anything about Rory in 153 episodes of Gilmore Girls (plus these final four), I don't see her going back to him to help her raise the child. Instead, it feels possible that she will do what her mom did. Be a strong woman and raise a child on her own. She had a great teacher, after all.

Let's hope that there will be some closure to this huge question we were served up. Wasn't this series supposed to give us closure? Instead, I feel like it just ripped open more holes for me to stew in and theorize about. Well done, Amy Sherman-Palladino. I will always want more.
