This Is Why People Are Loving Khloe Kardashian's Pregnancy News

Khloe Kardashian is reportedly pregnant for the first time. Multiple media outlets have confirmed the Revenge Body host and her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavalier basketball player Tristan Thompson, is expecting her first child. Romper has reached out to Kardashian's representatives for comment, but has not heard back at this time. While the Kardashians tend to rile up some pretty negative feelings all over social media, this time around there's been a refreshing change. People are genuinely happy that Khloe Kardashian is reportedly pregnant, especially after her well-documented fertility struggles.

Back in June, Khloe was considering becoming a surrogate for sister Kim Kardashian-West. Kim, the mother of 4-year-old daughter North West and 2-year-old son Saint West had struggled through both of those pregnancies with a condition called preeclampsia, as she wrote on her website, and any further pregnancies would be considered dangerous. When Khloe visited fertility specialist Andy Huang for what she thought would be a routine ultrasound, she was told there was an issue. Huang told Khloe, according to Women's Health:

These are follicles, these hold eggs, so this is just giving you an idea of how young your ovaries are. There are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old.

Khloe was devastated, saying afterwards according to Women's Health, "This is definitely not at all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can't get pregnant?"

If these reports are indeed true, then it seems like she really had no reason to be worried. Multiple sources confirmed to media outlets that the Good American designer and Canadian basketball star are at least three months pregnant, and overjoyed with the news, with an insider telling People:

Yes, Khloe and Tristan are expecting and they are absolutely thrilled. This isn’t something they were in a rush to announce to the whole world, and it’s only been in just the past week or so that they’ve felt comfortable telling most of their inner circle.

And the internet is just as excited as the couple, apparently.

Khloe has a history of being considered rather the aunt extraordinaire to her many nieces and nephews; Kim's two children, Kourtney's sons Mason and Reign, as well as daughter Penelope with ex-partner Scott Disick, and brother Rob Kardashian's daughter Dream with ex-fiancee Blac Chyna.

She has always seemed to love being with the next generation of Kardashians, so it makes sense that fans are excited to learn of the possibility of her starting her own family. Especially with Thompson, who is already the father of 9-month-old son Prince (with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig).

During her marriage to Lamar Odom, Khloe admitted that she "fake tried" to have children with the basketball star during fertility treatments, but her heart was never fully in it because the "circumstances weren't the healthiest," according to Metro:

When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar. I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage. I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like, even when it made me look like I was the problem.

The pair finalized their divorce earlier in December 2016, according to Us Weekly.

An insider told People that her relationship with Thompson feels far more solid:

This is something Khloe has wanted for years and years and yet it’s more than that: she didn’t want it unless she was in the right relationship for it. She never let it happen with Lamar, intentionally, and she never considered it with James or French or anyone else she has seen. But this is such a wonderful moment for her: not only is she going to be a mother, she is going to be raising a child with a man she truly loves. Everyone is over the moon for them both.

And clearly, so is everyone else.
