These Raquel Memes & Tweets Are Just What You Need

by Megan Walsh

While technically Season 21 of The Bachelor started off with thirty women looking to make their mark on the show, there is one more woman, mysterious and rarely seen, who may have made more of an impression than any of them. She isn't one of the competitors, but she has become nearly as important as the women trying to earn Nick Viall's affections. I'm speaking, of course, of Corinne's nanny Raquel. She may not have had as much screen time as the actual contestants, but that doesn't mean her presence hasn't been keenly felt, as fans of the show can attest. These Raquel memes and tweets from The Bachelor make it clear that she has found her way into the hearts of the viewers.

Raquel has appeared onscreen just once: when Corinne was being introduced to the series, Raquel was spotted bringing Corinne her famous cucumber slices. Since then, Raquel's reputation has has been built on hearsay and legend. It has been said that no one can make cheese pasta like Raquel. She knows exactly how much oil, lemon, and garlic salt to put on a salad. And she must have mythical stores of patience, because she spends her time looking after a twenty-four year old CEO (allegedly) like Cadbury after Richie Rich. That's right: that's a Richie Rich deep cut. And that's what have made these memes and tweets not only enjoyable, but also very appropriate. For example...

A Twist Worthy Of M. Night Shyamalan

That's the stuff Cinderella stories are made of.

Hello Darkness My Old Friend

The women on the show were just as perplexed by Corinne having a nanny as the audience was, but they didn't seem to take half as much joy in it.

Raquel, Can You Hear Me?

Unfortunately Raquel's reach can only stretch so far.

Three's Company

Nick has inquired about whether or not he gets the nanny if he chooses Corinne, so this isn't entirely implausible.

How I Met Raquel

The idea of Raquel secretly living in the Bachelor mansion to take care of Corinne's absurd demands is a premise worthy of a sitcom.

Everybody Loves Corinne

I mean, I'm not going to turn down a free plate of cheese pasta even if I don't fully understand what it is.

Take My Advice

Fake accounts have exploded since Raquel took center stage on The Bachelor, proving her legend status is assured.

XOXO Gossip Girl

Of course, being an IRL Blair Waldorf is not necessarily something to aspire to.

Nap Time

Finally, it all makes sense!

Corinne's nanny is inspiring almost as much Twitter comedy as Corinne herself, so here's hoping Raquel makes another appearance before the season ends.
