As a new mom, it's hard to juggle a nursing schedule along with all of your normal everyday errands. It's not only important to keep your baby fed, but you also need to eat regularly in order to maintain your energy. This may mean grabbing a meal on the go. Thankfully this Subway order could increase your milk supply and keep your belly full when eating on the run.

According to Parents, low iron levels are associated with low milk supply, and spinach is a great source of iron. Additionally, Very Well noted that dark leafy greens such as spinach contain phytoestrogens that are believed to have a positive effect on breast milk production. Getting your breakfast sandwich on multigrain flatbread is another way that you can boost your milk supply. Subway's multigrain flatbread contains several lactogenic grains such as oats, flaxseed, and chia seeds. Romper reached out to Subway to determine whether or not they've received any testimonials from moms who've credited the breakfast sandwich with increasing their supply, but did not hear back at the time of publication.

According to Belly Belly, oats contain saponins, which have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and also impact the milk making hormones created by the pituitary gland. Oats also contain Beta-glucan, according to Very Well. This is a fiber that is believed to raise the body's levels of prolactin, the milk-making hormone.
