Your Parenting Horoscope For February 6-12

It's true: Your zodiac sign plays a part in how you can live your best life, from which sex position you should try to identifying your dream career goals. Romper partnered with astrologer Maressa Brown to share how every sign can put the current astrological aspects to work and enjoy even more happiness, wellness, and love every week. Here's your weekly parenting horoscope for February 6-12.

This winter week wedged between Super Bowl Sunday and Valentine's Day is filled with a lot of action up in the sky, but the main event is a full moon eclipse in Leo on Friday. Not only is it the first eclipse of the year, but whatever goes down now should have a reverberating effect felt around the biggest eclipse of the year, which is also in Leo, on Aug. 21. (So, it may be wise to jot own a few thoughts around major events that crop up, so you can refer back to them toward the end of the summer.) This full moon should be a mostly positive one, thanks to its positive angle to lucky Jupiter. Still, a full moon is always a full moon, so watch out for dramatic, emotional, and wacky behavior.

On Tuesday, Mercury, the planet of communication, moves from Capricorn into Aquarius until Feb. 25, giving everyone a green light to embrace unconventional ways of expressing themselves. And on Saturday, Jupiter in Libra forms a positive angle to the sun in Aquarius, magnifying confidence in social situations and efforts to create balance in your life.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You should have a blast spending time with your partner and a group of likeminded people around Saturday, when the confident sun in your eleventh house of networking forms a positive angle to lucky Jupiter in your seventh house of partnership. Now's a fantastic time to trade notes with others over shared interests and goals, whether related to parenting strategies or political activism. Bonus: The experience could bolster your bond with your partner too.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

A stressful situation could be caused by a narcissistic relative who is frustrating you to no end around Friday when the full moon eclipse is in your fourth house of family life. You may want to ignore the situation with hopes that it'll diffuse on its own, but to keep the peace in your home (always your priority!), you may want to handle it head on, perhaps by having a serious conversation with your partner or other loved ones. You've got this.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Whether you've been struggling to tell your partner how you feel about your current child care set-up or another emotional issue, speaking from your heart is a must around Friday when the full moon eclipse is in your third house of communication. Do your best to prioritize finding the time and space you need to address it adequately, and then go for it. You'll ultimately feel relieved that you said your piece.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Maybe thanks to a sitter or less work on your plate this week, you'll be able to spend quality time with your kids and sneak in sexy one-on-one time with your partner around Saturday when the sun in your eighth house of sexual intimacy forms a positive angle to lucky Jupiter in your fourth house of home life. Letting go of expectations and going with the flow makes it easier to take advantage of this free-spirited, balance-bringing aspect.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You could feel like your emotions are exaggerated, and all you want to do is express that to your loved ones around Friday when the full moon eclipse is in your sign. Whether or not they're completely in sync is another story. If your toddler doesn't want to snuggle and read at bedtime or your partner isn't up for a quiet quickie in the shower after a long work week, don't take it to heart. Just share how you're feeling, take care of yourself, and they'll come around.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Around Friday, when the full moon eclipse is in your twelfth house of spirituality, you may feel especially sensitive when the emotionally intensity of your environment feels cranked up a notch or two. You'll benefit from a yoga class or even a long shower. Sure, you may have trouble asking your partner or loved ones to help out with the kids so you can get the time and space to do it, but a bit of solo time and self-care is really oh, so necessary for you RN.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You may be caught off-guard by how easy it is to have a free-spirited, fun time with your partner and 9 month old around Saturday when the confident sun in your fifth house of romance forms a positive angle to lucky Jupiter in your sign. In the back of your mind, you could keep thinking of your to-dos, but doing your best to live in the moment and embrace the simple details of the day will end up being so worth any procrastination.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You may be torn between wanting to spend time doing something for yourself (like meditating) and bonding with your baby, but around Saturday, when lucky Jupiter in your twelfth house of spirituality forms a positive angle to the sun in your fourth house of home life, you'll be able to do both. The experience may serve as a reminder that when you put less pressure on yourself and think positively, things have a way of working out.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You'll get a burst of confidence and feel more free than usual in how you express yourself from Tuesday until February 25 while Mercury is in your third house of communication. Take advantage by having a heart-to-heart with your partner around parenting strategies, or open up to a loved one about long-term goals you've been thinking about. Putting your thoughts into words can lead to a winning action plan.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You'll be feeling particularly self-assured and charismatic around Friday when the full moon eclipse is in your eighth house of sexual intimacy. Use this as an opportunity to get the baby to sleep ASAP and carve out time experiment with your partner (try a different position or spot in the house) or get into an emotional conversation with a potential partner. You could be surprised by how this deepens your bond now and later.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

Tackling an intimidating task with your partner or close friend could feel more doable than usual around Friday when the full moon eclipse is in your seventh house of partnership. Make a step-by-step plan that either involves the kids or loved ones who are happy to pitch in with childcare, and then dive in. You'll accomplish whatever you set your mind to, and end up feeling like you're on top of the world. It's all about #teamwork.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Caroline Wurtzel/Romper

You may be inclined to keep your emotions around everyday stress to yourself while Mercury is in your twelfth house of spirituality from Tuesday to Feb. 25. But whether you're dealing with late-night feedings or your toddler starts acting clingy out of the blue, make room in your schedule for a healthy timeout you enjoy (think journaling or painting). You'll get at least a sliver of that peace of mind you so deserve.
