Anne Vorrasi

Anne Vorrasi is Romper’s Senior Lifestyle Editor and oversees their pregnancy, parenting, breastfeeding, sex, relationships, fashion, beauty, health, lifestyle, and holiday content and strategy.

Anne started her editorial career as an intern with the lifestyle director at Glamour magazine. Before joining Romper, she was the lifestyle editor at InStyle where she covered food, decorating, and holiday content for both the print magazine and InStyle.com (for nearly 10 years). She spent copious hours during this former life recipe testing and putting together 20+ page gift guides.

Anne earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University where she majored in East Asian Studies and Food Studies and has a degree in pastry arts from The French Culinary Institute, now known as the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. She spent a couple years in the food industry before rejoining the magazine world.

A California native, Anne and her family now split their time between Brooklyn and upstate New York. She has two young children, a small flock of chickens, and enjoys gardening, knitting, and creating edible cake toppers in her free time. She is a firm believer that every mundane household chore is much more palatable — sometimes even enjoyable — with the right audiobook.
