Elisabeth Kwak-Hefferan

Elisabeth Kwak-Hefferan is a freelance writer and editor. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, 5280, Backpacker, and Outside Business Journal. She is also the author of the Frommer's travel guide to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and an adjunct professor of environmental journalism at the University of Montana. She lives in Missoula, Montana, with her husband and two kids. The two kids have cut down significantly on her ability to enjoy the many, many breweries in town, but on the other hand, she now has an encyclopedic knowledge of the best playgrounds in a 100-mile radius.
