13 Gorgeous Baby Girl Outfits For Fall

These are perfect for Thanksgiving dinner, the pumpkin patch, or just sitting in a pile of leaves for an Instagram-perfect picture.

Every season, I say it’s my new favorite season for dressing my three daughters, but there’s something really lovely about baby girl fall clothes. It’s the colors — so much rust, mustard, olive green, and jewel tones — but it’s also the fabric choices and the cozy factor. Like, a baby sweater dress? The best. Or corduroy rompers and knee-high socks with little ruffles or lace trim? Put a fork in me, I’m done.

With three girls, I’ve learned quickly what’s worth buying for my kids, and what may look cute, but will essentially sit in the closet all season long because it’s too tight, too uncomfortable, too itchy, too everything. The baby girl fall clothes on this list are all just perfect. Most of them are cute enough to be worn at big family events like Thanksgiving or the pumpkin patch, but there’s also a good mix of fall baby girl outfits that you can just have your little one rock while they’re just chilling at home on a tummy time mat. Most of these go up to at least 12 months, if not higher, so no matter what size your baby girl is in, she can wear the sweetest little rompers, sweaters, and dresses this fall.

There’s also a variety of price points here, which is a must when shopping for baby girl fall outfits. And just to reiterate — mom of three daughters here. Every single piece on this list will hold up beautifully all season long for your kids to hand down to siblings or friends. Trust me.

Fall Floral Coverall Set

Even the smallest of baby girls can have a fall look with this sweet tee and jumpsuit set from Carter’s. My own 5-month-old has this one and has worn it several times — the coveralls are in a gorgeous yellow with a fall floral print, and are made of a super soft cotton, so there’s no uncomfortable or rough parts. And you just can not beat a matching headband, I’m sorry.

Fair Isle Baby Sweater Dress

Every baby girl needs a sweater dress in her closet, and this fair isle outfit from Tea Collection is just the sweetest. The knit is really soft and light, which makes it perfect for the mild fall days and the colder winter days. My own girl has already worn this a few times here in Georgia, and it hasn’t been too heavy for her. Pair it with a sweet pair of leggings or tights for a classic look.

Corduroy Baby Overall Romper

Corduroy is an absolutely classic fall material, and this sweet ruffled corduroy overall romper from Old Navy is perfect. It comes in two shades — forest shade and scarlet oak — and would pair perfectly with either leggings or little knee-high socks. All you need is a cute bodysuit to go underneath.

Pumpkin Print Baby Set

I love these little two-piece sets from Carter’s — the pants are always impeccably soft and fit like a dream. This little organic cotton pumpkin print set is the cutest for fall pictures or just a day out enjoying the sunshine and leaves. It also works great for any Halloween festivities and can carry into Thanksgiving.

Pear Print Ribbed Baby Dress

Hanna Andersson is known for their soft, well-made clothes, and also for their bright, fun prints and pops of color. Their classic ribbed knit baby dress comes in this gorgeous colorful pears pattern for fall, featuring lots of nice jewel tones. Another easy one to throw on baby girl with some leggings or cute socks.

Pointelle Collared Baby Sweater

The sweetness of this pointelle collared sweater from Janie & Jack is literally too much. The pink is divine, and it’s soft enough to be comfortable just lounging at home, but also perfect for any ~fancy~ occasion, like Thanksgiving dinner. I think this would be so cute with a pair of bloomers and some knee-high lace socks.

Fall Jumper Set

Another perfect jumper set is this darling mustard-yellow corduroy jumper paired with an apple-print tee and the cutest tights (that look like little Mary Jane shoes, I can’t get over it). A tip from a mom of three girls? Tuck the tee into the leggings so that you don’t have to worry about anything rolling up as baby girl does all of her own rolling.

Solid Leggings

I have three girls and not a single one of them likes wearing pants that don’t have any stretch or give to them. Tea Collection has some of the best leggings I’ve ever bought, and these solid baby leggings in the oasis color are a must for fall. They have just enough stretch to be comfortable without being baggy or loose, and pair perfectly with a dress or a tunic top.

Pumpkin Sweatshirt

I’m obsessed with this sweet pumpkin sweatshirt that comes in sizes 6 months all the way to 12 years. Featuring gorgeous Liberty of London fabric, the pumpkin applique is on a soft gray or navy sweater featuring buttons at the collar. You can choose from eight different Liberty of London fabric choices, too.

Corduroy Paperbag Pants

From the new Hilary Duff collection, I need a pair of these corduroy paperbag pants in my own size. All you need is a sweet little onesie or sweater, but you want to make sure you show off that perfect waistband bow. I especially love the way they narrow at the ankle so they don’t bunch up on baby.

Polka Dot Orange Sweatsuit

How perfect is this polka dot sweatsuit? I can’t get over the color or the coziness of this look. Your baby girl could rock it any day of the week, but since it comes with a matching headband, it could even be perfect for a relaxing Thanksgiving dinner.

Corduroy Bodysuit & Bonnet Set

I’m sorry, any baby girl in a bonnet and knee-high socks is absolutely perfect. I love the corduroy of this outfit — it’s perfect for fall, but since it’s a romper, it’s definitely light enough for several climates. My youngest daughter has worn this several times here in the south, and it hasn’t even gotten that cool yet. Bonus: I’ve never found knee-high socks that stay up as well as these ones. They are perfect.
