Jordan Robinson

Jordan Robinson (née Ligons) is a prolific freelance writer, host, and podcaster based in Los Angeles. She covers women’s basketball, pop culture, and their intersections. She’s been published in GQ, ESSENCE, The Ringer, and more. She is a women’s college basketball host for The Pac-12 Network, and also co-hosts a weekly WNBA podcast called Queens of the Court with Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes for the WNBA and Audacy. Jordan also hosted Game On on the Women’s Sports Network, highlighting all women’s sports with analysis, commentary, and interviews with female athletes.

Jordan graduated Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2016 with a degree in journalism. She was a 4-year letterer for the women’s basketball team at PLNU.

Her journalism career started with an internship at San Diego Magazine. Then she earned her first job as an editor for LOCALE Magazine in Orange County. After working her way up to senior editor, she decided to pursue sports journalism by taking the position of fact-checker and writer for The Ringer in 2018. Previously, she co-hosted the Spinsters basketball podcast and hosted her own WNBA YouTube show with WAVE.TV’s Buckets called The Buckets Five. Currently, Jordan is a freelance writer and on-camera host with an emphasis on the WNBA and women’s sports.
